I try not to give into marketing hype, especially for the so-called blockbuster titles that seem to have a cast of dozens and the slick advertising, but in the case of Immortal, I did.

Since I wanted to review another JKP title anyway, Immortal seemed to be one of the most universally acclaimed release. Maybe it's because my tastes have changed away from couple's features but I don't agree with the many reviewers who have generally gushing praise for this Michael Raven feature.

In terms of plot, it's a rehash of the mainstream chick flicks City of Angels and Xanadu, with Julian playing a struggling musician, who is inspired to success by the muse Cleo (Jill Kelly). Of course, since this is an adult movie, the character development is almost non-existent, and it's not long before Aaron and Cleo are the couple and screwing away happily.
Other characters include Damon (Randy Spears), the record executive who likes Aaron's music and Lyla (Inari Vachs), a record producer who had a past relationship with Damon. Asia Carerra and Devon headline the group of the other Muses who take a trip down to Earth to "experience" mortal love.

Of course, the acting is quite spotty -- Julian is not a good acting lead, Inari's Halle Berry-inspired diction is very irritating, and Asia's trademark dialogue delivery is always laborious. But since when has porn been about the dialogue scenes?

So what about the dirty bits then? Jill and Julian make a surprisingly good couple -- their fucking is really nice to watch, and they obviously have good chemistry (it's pretty evident when you look at how intensely Julian enjoys himself). Randy is the consummate woodsman and is one of the few "old timers" that I still look forward to seeing.

Inari needs to cut back on the saliva flow during her famous sloppy blowjobs, but she looks well sexy in glasses. The orgy scene that the balance of the cast appears in is pretty decent -- a good mix of action, including oral, girl-girl, one-on-one, 4 girls on one guy, and a messy oral cumshot. The final coupling between Jill and Julian is solid -- highlights are Julian in tight leather pants and a money shot on her pubes followed by some post-shot fucking.

Overall, it's a solid couple's movie that has its share of problems (lighting at times is weak, shaky acting, hit-or-miss chemistry) but isn't that bad. It's obvious from the end result and the behind-the-scenes video that JKP tried their best to make this as "big" as they could.

From the letterboxed presentation to the marketing campaign to the music, it aims high. It's not a keeper in my book because it doesn't hit the mark and because I wasn't enamored by the cast or their performances in general.

It's definitely not a Wicked-class production despite the big name cast and director, so I can't agree with the lavish praise for Immortal. But it certainly rises well above average for the couple's genre, so I'll recommend it if that's the type of porn you're in the market for.

When you're watching "Pink velvet", "Gina Lynn's Darkside", "Blonde jokes", it's hard to last out to end, but when you are watching "Alexis on fire" there is no such problem (though I will not say, that I held up, because not, hihi). This movie is not so pornographic like mentioned above. For one man is good, for another is not, it depends what do you need at this moment..

There is no plot in this movie. I would want to describe exactly who played in every scene, but it so bad visibility, that it's really hard to see who is who sometimes, especially to recognize male actors.

In every scene, except lesbian, there is Alexis. Once with one guy, once with two misters, sometimes some girl give helpful hand, but always on main plan is Alexis Amore.
Sex is not bad, rather average, nothing special, not so much varied, and it's dark, so dark. In first scene it make good impression (it's really nice view, Alexis make a love near the fire), but in next scenes is already quite annoying. One scene in darkness is enough.

However, lesbian scene is probably one of the worst I have seen. One minus is visibility, and second minus is that women at all do not caress each other, and supposedly, women like tenderness. Maybe someone does not want to lick by half hour some strange drunken lady, which just vomited, but everyone likes probably watching at kisses and women's caress. I do not want something like "Playboy" here, but I like watching gentle, sweet lesbian scenes.
The movie would be really good, but Sky Blue forgot about one important thing. "Alexis On fire" is not horror, it's not thriller too, it's porn movie. And when man is watching, porn then most of all he wants to see. To see girls and sex. And here we have climate like in horrors. It's too dark, I didn't recognize male actors, and I had problem with recognize of female performers. When you see not much, you are not excited.

The movie is worth of recommendation, if the hard, pornographic sex is a little bored, wants something new, or if someone is not crazy about hard sex on screen.

We are just getting ready to launch our Sexual Wellness line. The first product is an all natural "Viagra" we call J22...it kicks ass! We tested everything on the market before deciding that we should designed our own product. Our product is the real deal! From there we have clitoral creams, libido increasers, etc. I am also working on skin care and clothing lines.

We understand that you started the Adult Industry Assistance Fund, can you explain a little about that and your involvement?
When our industry was affected with a recent HIV scare. I decided to do my part in helping out those in need. So, we started AIAF in order to assist those that were infected. We send them monthly assistance for medical and continued education. The fund has been going very well, and we hope for it's continued success.

Now, you have been on tour promoting your new book, how has that been?
The book tour has been insane! We released " How To Make Love Like A Pornstar " August 17th and went on a 2 week promo tour followed by 2 weeks of TV interviews. What city has blown you away as far as their response to you?

Who uses vibrators? It’s easy to say that there isn’t one type of person who uses a vibrator, but what can research tell us about the demographics of people who use vibrators? Sadly, not much.
There is only one survey published in a peer reviewed journal and not funded by a company that has an interest in selling sex toys, and that survey mostly looked at how women use vibrators, not who the women are using them (and they didn’t look at men at all).

The people who seem to collect most of the information about who is using vibrators tends to be, not surprisingly, the people who are trying to sell us more vibrators. These surveys are always tied to some form of marketing, and the way the surveys were conducted is rarely described in detail.

Keeping that in mind, here’s what we know about who uses vibrators, as gleaned from several popular surveys from 1976 to 2005.

How common is it to use a vibrator?

The most common statistic found across surveys was that between 20-27% of people surveyed said they had used a vibrator.

Some examples of survey research include:

In Shere Hite’s famous survey (1976), only 1% of respondents said they had ever used a vibrator
In a 2006 Elle/MSNBC.com survey, a whopping 40% of respondents said they had used a vibrator.
In a 1996 survey of Swedish women aged 18 to 74, an average of 19% of respondents said they had used a sex toy by themselves, and 15% said they had used a sex toy with a partner. Younger repondents were more likely to have used a sex toy, with 30% of women 25 to 34 reporting having used a sex toy.

With the exception of the Swedish survey which was of a nationally representative sample and used validated techniques, most of these surveys could not be considered scientific, or even particularly reliable. Yet it’s interesting that so many of them came up with the same general number that between 20 to 27% of people surveyed said they used vibrators.

When did you first use a vibrator?

Two surveys that have asked this got very similar results:

15 to 17% were under 20 years old when they first tried a vibrator
50% were in their 20s
22 to 27% were in their 30s
8 to 10% were 40 and older

Who uses vibrators more, men or women?In the two surveys that compared vibrator use between men and women, women were more likely to use vibrators:
One study found that 33% of female respondents versus 20% of male respondents used vibrators

Another study found that the numbers were 24% for women and 21% for men.

What else about people who use vibrators?

Here are some random statistics from the surveys listed below:

Most studies found that vibrator users were overwhelmingly white.
Most studies found that vibrator users were predominantly in their thirties.

Although the sex scenes are steaming, this is not in any way shape or form what I would categorize as a porno-proper. This is a real movie, with a very heavy storyline, that contains really erotic sex scenes. There are actually 7 sex scenes in the entire movie and just like following the storyline, the sex scenes build and progress as the story does. Basic Storyline
